Things to do while you're at home: Turn off the news!

Turn off the news! It's important to stay informed, but most people are burned out on the news. Particularly if you have young people around, turn off the news and spend time playing games, working on a project together or just being together. The situation is serious, but the emotional and mental health of your family is important too. Limit exposure to negative and sensationalized media coverage. Talk to your kids about what's going on in a way that they can understand, turn off the TV and pull out the Jenga!
